Sunday morning update

Dad had a good night. He told me that he annoyed the entire staff this morning but there was no evidence of that. He is not ready to come off the ventilator yet. He is still too full of fluids to take any chances. Hopefully they'll start him on diuretics today to reduce his swelling. It can take 3 days or so (according to dad) to drain his system. He said he'll feel much better when the NG tube comes out, so I guess he's adjusted to the ventilator.

We had a great breakfast at a cool and tiny place with mom, Johnny, Michele and Jack. Crab & bacon over eggs..... Doesn't get much better than that! We're spending a few hours at the science museum and then hitting the road. Until later... No news is good news.
