Gettysburg Family Reunion 1

M: The Clarke family reunion was held in Gettysburg, PA this year. Since Civil War tours are not of high interest to a 4 year old, we took an alternate route....the Boyd's Bear Factory. The place is huge, as you can see, and is a 4 story extravaganza of bears and other stuffed animals. Our cousin Grace came with us.

S: I liked the bear factory. Grace went with us. In the car she was sitting next to me and in the car on the way she was reading a story of Barbie big book to me.


S: Me and Grace were waiting for Sparkle Bear to hatch from the egg.

M: There was a special show to launch their new bear. Sparkle bear hatched from a HUGE egg and all the kids got wands and wings and sceptors. Very fun!

S: There was make your own and I made my own cat. First they gave me a hat and when I got my hat they asked to take your picture for my necklace thing. I picked a kitty and then after that I went in some kind of room and I put some colors in to fill the kitty up. And then after I made my own kitty we went over to dress up kitty or bitty baby because they had small stuff.

M: She had to punch her time card at each station- it was very cute!

S: Me and Grace were in the cat maze. It was fun. There was dead ends and there was skeleton pieces. You don't have to put the skeleton pieces together to make a skeleton.

M: ????? It was a very cute hay maze. the corn maze would've taken all day and required a compass!

Sesame Place 2

M: Sorry it's been a while. Siobhan has been pretty wiped out from school and has been going to bed VERY early (6:15 one night last week!). I told her I'd post the rest of Sesame Place and hopefully we can get back on track soon.

Yes, that is a kiddie "free fall" that they're on. It's Siobhan's favorite ride of all. She does *NOT* get that from her mother! (A bit of Aunt Carolyn, I think)

S: I love Super Grover! I saw just Grover at Abby Cadabby's show.

S: Kathleen got wet because the weather was like rain.

S: Me and Annie were taking a picture with Abby Cadabby!

S: Molly was wrapped in a towel because she got wet because she went in the water things.
