The Incident

First of all, she's ok. But, we did have a system failure at the school that I have now, hopefully, addressed successfully. Siobhan and her buddy collided in the schoolyard at the end of gym. thanks to overcrowding, the gym teacher had 28 kids on the playground by herself. (i know) She scraped her knee & hand and you can see what her head looks like. The problem came when Siobhan refused to go to the nurse. A bandaid was put on her head & she went to lunch. That's it. The nurses weren't called, the teacher didn't know to look for signs of concussion, nothing.

It was a looooooong afternoon yesterday. I also may have lost my driver's license in the process (need it to walk into her school building). So, now the AP, Nurses & Parent Coordinator all know who I am. Ya- good times. Siobhan has now been told (eleventy thousand times) that no matter what, if she gets hurt on her HEAD at school, to go to the nurses!

1 month later.....

Siobhan's tooth fell out! Of course, you can't see it in the picture- I'll have to try to get a picture of her talking (shouldn't be too hard). The tooth fairy left her 5 dollars but we've heard that's just for the first tooth. She's got another loose one getting ready to go, so we'll see what's in store next time around. She's very very very excited about the whole thing but has no interest in blogging right now ;) .

1st day of Kindergarten!

S: This is me. I am standing outside of school waiting for the door to open so I can go in for my first day of my short short 1 2 3 kindergarten class.
M: The first 2 days were only 45 minutes long, and the kids were broken into 3 groups so they had staggered sessions.




S: This is my desk and school supplies. The school supplies is for when I glue or anything my teacher tells me to. I sit in front of my name. I was sitting next to Danny and he bonked me on the forehead and I bonked him on the forehead back. My teacher had to move my seats and then I made a new friend today. His name is Adrian.

M: 45 minutes. That's all, just 45 minutes and she gets her seat moved. Oy.

S: This is a picture of my friends Johnny and Michaela. We are looking at Charlie and Lola. It is a book. We were sitting on the bench. They went to the Big Blue House with me.

M: Siobhan is lucky enough to have 4 other kids from her Pre-K in her class with her. It makes all of the moms feel much better!

S: Arlie came when I came out of Kindergarten she came out with Ben and brought the stroller instead of carrying him and I walked home with them and Mommy and Daddy. He really likes me!

NC 2008 Part 2

This is me and my dad. We are walking up the beach 'cause we are going back to the room.



I was calling Mommy and Daddy and telling them that I found a shell. It had a hole so we can make necklaces.

We looked out the window and saw Arlie and Jimmy and Robb. They were watching our big tv at our room!

Me and my Uncle Jon were watching tv and Ben wanted to sit on my Uncle Jon's lap so he picked Ben up and putted him on his lap while they were watching tv.
