Sunday afternoon/evening......

Busy day today! Uncle Joey came to visit- Dad couldn't talk much but he held his own :) He's getting 2 units of blood because he's "a little low." So, he should be "perky" tomorrow. He walked 2 laps today and is now very tired.

Apparently, he wants to go to Niagara Falls when he's better. When he was in the ICU, he was watching a relaxation channel with pretty pictures and spa music. Niagara Falls seemed to speak to him. Who knew? Bob said Dad's now going to have a "bucket list."

Ultrasound of the PIC line- he has a couple of clots on each side. He's on a new blood thinner (he was on Heparin) which should keep them from moving. He's still not up to giving me any statements for the blog. Hopefully that will come soon.

Not sure when we are getting back down to Baltimore. Hopefully on our next trip, he'll be up to a quick video interview like he gave from the hospital when he had his heart surgery :)

Mom had a really nice visit with Kelly- R&R is always very much appreciated! And, speaking of R&R, Aunt Peggy and Peter have volunteered their services to visit Dad next Friday when we go to the show :) If anyone is around Thursday afternoon, mom is probably leaving MD around 2 so she doesn't have to drive in the dark. Visiting hours are from 12-8.

I'm back to work tomorrow- and am actually looking forward to the normalcy of it!!!
