more thursday update

Mom just called. They think dad has a "collection" of yuck in his abdomen. They saw a mass on the CAT scan that was larger than before, and given the confusion and amount of infections going on, this seems to be the best explanation. He'll need a procedure that they should be able to do without putting him under general anesthesia again. It'll be done either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Sigh. He's on such a bumpy rollercoaster ride. A few days of smooth sailing would be very nice right now.
