yet another infection

he's such a mess! they've been running tests to see why he's so confused. one scan shows his colon being very "full" so they're thinking it's a C-Dif infection. (Clostridium difficile) On top of that, his hiccups are back. He knows where he is and what year it is, but is otherwise discombobulated. He has a 1:1 and is on isolation, so masks and gowns are now required around him.

as my dear friend ann marie said, "unexpected" at this point would be if he grew a tail or started speaking in tongues. So there you have it- let's hope for no tail.
