New Year's Eve!

I can't believe I didn't post yesterday! I guess that's a sign of Dad's improvement, when nothing is *new* for a day. Everything is moving along, slowly but seemingly surely. He is getting a bit stronger, and walking a bit farther. Stairs continue to be very difficult. This is going to be a much more physically difficult recovery than the heart surgery!

Mom said that Dad will have a great view of the fireworks tonight. I hope he enjoys them.

If nothing *new* happens today, I wish you all a very happy New Year's Eve and look forward to much improved health and happiness for all in 2009!
