Greetings from Baltimore

We're here! Bob and Siobhan dropped me off at the hospital. Dad is unrecognizable. He looks like the Michelin Man. I did not know that the human body could swell that much. Despite the swelling, tubes and seriousness of his condition, he is in good spirits. I brought him a white board and markers so he can communicate more easily. He also has a basic communication board he can use.

His current state: blood pressure going up (good) heart rate coming down (good) and fever coming down (good). He is continuing to make slow but steady progress.

I am going back in to see him now. I'll update more later if anything is new.
