tuesday evening update

good evening everyone! I talked to Mom a little while ago. Dad's still not himself, but "ok." His kidney function is "off" so they're probably calling in a renal consult, who could very likely be Michelle! Keeping things in the family :)

He's a little sluggish and lethargic. the doctor who checked him out this afternoon feels that his body is reacting to the overall assault on his system, and he just crashed today. it's not unexpected and he should turn back around soon.

he's lost 22 lbs of fluid so far! it's amazing that the human body can stretch and accommodate that level of change in so little time.
