Ok, just got off the phone with Mom. Dad was in septic shock, which is why he went in for the surgery this morning. He's currently on a ventilator and his blood pressure is very low. He's very swollen & they've got him on fluids.
They're hoping to start weaning him off the ventilator ASAP and it "should" take about 36 hours for the septic shock to resolve. As always, I'll post when I know anything.
