Saturday Night Update

I'm on the phone with mom now. Dad is up, out of bed, rid of all tubes, and even eating a regular diet. He's still getting oxygen though his nose. He had a chest x-ray tonight and it was fine. He's on track to get up and walking tomorrow....... so appropriate for Easter Sunday, no? He remains in good spirits, is very grateful and thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Mom is fully enjoying Uncle Joe's apartment. He may find himself with a full-time roommate!

We'll head in tomorrow, meet up with mom and Jonathan for brunch and then take turns visiting. Siobhan is annoyed that she's not allowed in to see him. I'm now fighting a cold, so I may be in the waiting room with Siobhan anyway.
